The delegation was led by Mr. Hu Hang, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fosun Health, and included Mr. Shen Yun, Co-President and Chief Strategy Officer of Fosun Health, and Mr. Zhao Xiaodong, Vice President of Fosun Health and Director of Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital.

During the visit, the Fosun Health team toured Fakeeh Care Group's flagship hospital in Jeddah. Executives from both sides held extensive discussions on hospital planning, clinical discipline operations, and service quality standards. Subsequently, witnessed by Mr. Hu Hang and Dr. Mazen Fakeeh, President of Fakeeh Care Group, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Dr. Sohail Bajammal, Chief Executive Officer of the Fakeeh Care Group flagship hospital in Jeddah and Mr. Zhao Xiaodong, solidifying the strategic partnership. This agreement formally initiates comprehensive collaboration in the outlined core areas, which aligns closely with the biotechnology localization objectives under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. A key focus will be developing smart healthcare solutions tailored to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market and jointly building an integrated chronic disease management model that combines device monitoring, AI-powered early warning, and insurance coordination. Furthermore, the partners will establish a joint research and translation platform in the field of stem cell and regenerative medicine to support Saudi Arabia’s strategic push for biotechnology localization.
