As the construction of the Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macao Greater Bay Area enters a stage of in-depth development, cross-border collaboration in the medical field has become an important breakthrough for regional integration. The "Hong Kong and Macao Medicine and Equipment Connect" policy, as a key link connecting international cutting - edge medical achievements with the needs of mainland patients, is accelerating the clinical application of global innovative medicines and medical devices in the Greater Bay Area.

With its excellent medical strength and resource integration capabilities, Fosun Health has actively promoted the registration and clinical application of overseas innovative medicines and medical devices in the Greater Bay Area. At this CIIE, Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital reached in-depth cooperation with globally renowned pharmaceutical companies Astellas, medical technology giant BD Medical, innovative biopharmaceutical company Saisheng Pharmaceutical, and hearing solution leader Cochlear. The cooperation with BD Medical is a deepening extension of the PleurX tunneled long-term indwelling drainage system project. This system has been successfully applied in clinical practice by the thoracic surgery team of Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital before, which can realize "one catheterization, long-term drainage", relieving malignant pleural effusion patients from the pain of repeated punctures.

At the same time, Shenzhen Hengsheng Hospital also reached a strategic cooperation with Cochlear, introducing a new type of cochlear implant and sound processor from Australia. It has more intelligent algorithms and better wireless connection technology, which can significantly improve sound clarity and frequency resolution, while being compatible with 3.0T MRI scans, helping patients hear again.
