On the morning of October the 30th, 2025, a delegation from the Bangladesh Diplomatic Correspondents Association, organized by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Bangladesh, paid a visit to Guangzhou Fosun Chancheng Hospital (Guangzhou Xinshi Hospital) affiliated to Guangdong Pharmaceutical University for exchange.
Both parties conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as international medical cooperation, cross-border recuperation, and teleconsultation. Some delegation members also personally experienced the hospital's featured traditional Chinese medicine physical therapy services and highly praised the efficacy. This visit not only constitutes a fruitful exchange in the medical field between China and Bangladesh but also fully demonstrates the hospital's positive exploration and open attitude in advancing international medical development.

On-Site Visit: Experiencing Featured Medical Services Firsthand
The delegation consisted of 15 members, including embassy representatives and journalists from mainstream Bangladeshi media, with participation from the person in charge of Guangzhou Daolu Medical Service Co., Ltd. Prior to the forum, the Bangladeshi embassy delegation conducted an on-site tour of the hospital's outpatient department, rehabilitation hall, and International Medical Center. In the rehabilitation hall, the advanced and comprehensive rehabilitation equipment highlighted the hospital's professional strength in cerebral and orthopedic rehabilitation; in the outpatient department, the clear and reasonable functional layout and clean and warm medical environment won unanimous praise from the delegation; in the International Medical Center, the distinctive specialized features and elegant and tidy ward environment vividly interpreted the hospital's development blueprint based on an "international perspective."

During the visit, the delegation showed strong interest in the hospital's featured TCM therapies. Peng Guo, Deputy Director of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, gave a detailed introduction to the TCM tuina (massage), bone-setting, and featured rehabilitation technologies currently offered by the hospital, and invited several delegation members to experience them on-site. After the experience, the members praised the therapies as "impressive" and gave positive feedback on the relevant technologies.

Thematic Forum: Jointly Discussing International Medical Development
The forum was hosted by Lu Wenjuan, Director of the hospital's International Business Department, who focused on introducing the hospital's achievements in discipline construction and international exchanges in her presentation. Since joining Fosun Health Group as a member hospital, the hospital has continuously promoted innovation and transformation, focusing on building featured specialties such as minimally invasive surgery, tumor diagnosis and treatment, and cerebral center. Among them, the Tumor Center fully implements a multidisciplinary team (MDT) diagnosis and treatment model and extensively carries out minimally invasive treatment, with the number of tumor patients receiving treatment exceeding 17,000 in 2024. Meanwhile, the hospital has strived to improve its emergency and critical care capabilities, achieving full upgrading in the construction of the "Three Major Centers" (Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center, and Trauma Center), and becoming one of the few social medical institutions in China to pass three authoritative certifications simultaneously. In terms of hardware, the hospital is equipped with a series of advanced medical equipment such as nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), digital flat-panel DSA, and multi-slice spiral CT, and its international medical management system has won wide recognition in the industry.

In the thematic discussion session, both parties conducted in-depth exchanges on topics such as the hospital's disciplinary advantages, service models, cross-border recuperation, and consultation on difficult cases in the field of international medical care.
The delegation further learned about the specific measures of the Tumor Center and the International Medical Center in terms of management system and medical quality control. Professor Chen Tao, academic leader of the International Medical Center of Guangzhou Fosun Chancheng Hospital, stated: "Targeting the medical needs of foreign patients, the center has made practical optimizations in professionalism, privacy, personalization, and convenience. Whether in medical processes, teleconsultation, visa assistance, multilingual translation, or life services, it fully reflects the service standards and humanistic care of a high-end medical institution."

Emran Hossain Rashed, a member of the delegation, said: "Guangzhou Fosun Chancheng Hospital has an agile operational mechanism and a clear international development strategy, which is impressive. It has set a unique benchmark in the medical pattern of the Greater Bay Area, and we look forward to the hospital providing important support for medical cooperation and exchanges between China and Bangladesh in the future."
In recent years, Guangzhou Fosun Chancheng Hospital has actively responded to and deeply participated in the construction of the "Health Silk Road." In March this year, the hospital officially established the International Medical Center, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of international medical services in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area; in August, the hospital sent a team of experts in cerebral medicine and oncology to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, to participate in the China-Bangladesh Healthcare Development Expo, effectively promoting exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in high-quality medical care.
In the future, the hospital will continue to give full play to the advantages of its international medical platform, actively participate in the construction of the "Health Silk Road," and promote the sharing and interconnection of high-quality global medical resources
