Born in 1976, Dr. Li Yan graduated from the Medical School of Xi'an Tong University with a Master's degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology. His research focus is gynecological oncology. He is a committee member of the Gynecological Oncology Branch of the Guangdong Precision Medicine Association. Since 2008, he has been engaged in clinical gynecology, serving as a senior resident and medical team leader with no record of medical errors. He can independently perform Grade 3 and some Grade 4 gynecological surgeries. He is highly proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of various common, frequent, and complex gynecological diseases, as well as the emergency management of critical conditions. He is skilled in various gynecological surgical procedures, particularly minimally invasive surgeries such as laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian tumor resection, tubal-preserving ectopic pregnancy surgery, hysteroscopic resection of large submucous fibroids, and hysteroscopic adhesiolysis. In 2010, he received advanced training in gynecological endoscopy at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. On July 30, 2013, he performed the hospital's first single-port laparoscopic surgery. In 2008, his participating research "Impact of Laparoscopic versus Open Hysterectomy on Immune Function" received the Second Prize of Jiangmen City Science and Technology Award. In 2009, he was awarded the title of Jiangmen City Outstanding Young Science and Technology Pioneer. In 2013, he presided over the Jiangmen Science and Technology Bureau project "Study on Endocrine Metabolism and Adipokine Changes in Obese Adolescent Patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome," which has been completed. In 2018, he initiated the ongoing Jiangmen Science and Technology Bureau project "Application of Transumbilical Single-Port Laparoscopy in Benign Gynecological Diseases." He has published 8 articles.
