Dr. Jiang Chenglong graduated from Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. With 20 years of clinical experience in human assisted reproductive technology, he has served as the head of a clinical medical team, leading his team in completing over 10,000 oocyte retrieval cycles. He presided over Hubei Province's first successful delivery from frozen-thawed oocyte in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer, and the province's first successful pregnancy and delivery using transabdominal ovum pickup guided by transvaginal B-ultrasound. He has established fine-needle reduced-pain oocyte retrieval techniques, letrozole minimal stimulation ovulation induction protocols, and modified the Progestin-Primed Ovarian Stimulation (PPOS) protocol.
Research & Academia
Published over 30 academic papers, including 19 as first author. Received the Hubei Provincial Major Scientific and Technological Achievement award and the Shiyan Municipal Science and Technology Progress Second Prize. Responsible for teaching the theoretical courses of "Reproductive Biology" and "Human Assisted Reproductive Technology" to clinical medicine undergraduates at the School of Bioengineering, Hubei University of Medicine.

Director Jiang Chenglong is highly skilled in the hysteroscopic examination and treatment of endometrial lesions. In over twenty years of reproductive clinical work, Director Jiang has treated thousands of women with infertility due to intrauterine adhesions (Asherman's Syndrome), ultimately helping them achieve their dreams through hysteroscopic treatment and IVF technology.
A 27-year-old patient, unable to conceive again after multiple induced abortions, sought out Director Jiang. Hysteroscopy revealed severe intrauterine adhesions obscuring the normal uterine cavity. After adhesiolysis to partially restore the uterine cavity shape and medication to promote endometrial proliferation and repair, pregnancy was achieved via frozen-thawed embryo transfer, successfully resulting in the birth of a boy.
Director Jiang is also known as the "Fast, Accurate, and Steady" egg retrieval doctor, renowned for his puncture and retrieval skills. For a patient highly sensitive to pain undergoing egg retrieval, Director Jiang proactively engaged her in conversation to distract her. Minutes later, when informed the procedure was complete, the patient was unbelievable.
Another patient on a short protocol treatment with poor ovarian function feared retrieval failure. Director Jiang successfully retrieved 10 eggs in one attempt, with the patient experiencing no ascites or other discomfort, leaving her highly satisfied.
Such examples are numerous. Director Jiang is a dedicated practitioner, focused for years on the clinical frontline of reproductive medicine, deeply researching IVF technology, and using his exquisite skills and excellent service to help family after family realize their dreams of parenthood.
On the afternoon of April 25, 2025, our hospital held the signing and unveiling ceremony for the "Reproductive Health and Infertility Specialty Medical Alliance" between Yuancheng District People's Hospital and Shenzhen Hengsheng Hospital in the fifth-floor conference room, marking a new developmental opportunity for our hospital in the field of reproductive health.
Following the unveiling ceremony, the event proceeded to the academic training session.
