Chief Physician and Professor of Pediatrics, Master's degree holder, Chief of the General Pediatrics Department and Director of the Neonatology Department. Graduated from the Department of Clinical Medicine of Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences. With 25 years of experience in pediatric clinical work, he has been honored with the titles "Labor Model of Chancheng District, Foshan City" and "Outstanding Young Medical Talent of Foshan City." He has undertaken advanced studies at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, the Pediatric Hospital of Fudan University in Shanghai, and the Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong. In the past five years, as project leader, he has conducted over 10 provincial and municipal continuing education projects and secured 6 research project approvals from the Foshan Science and Technology Bureau. "The half a kilogram Baby's" arm at birth was smaller than an adult's little finger. This tiny infant urgently needed professional and gentle care. Mo Wenhui, Director of the Neonatology Department, led the hospital's neonatal critical care team to formulate a meticulous treatment plan. Over more than 88 days of dedicated care, they helped "The half a kilogram Baby " overcome numerous challenges including respiratory distress syndrome, sepsis, intracranial hemorrhage, patent ductus arteriosus, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, anemia, and gastroesophageal reflux. Now, at 5 years old, "The half a kilogram Baby " is lively, lovely, clever, sunny, and exhibits excellent development in all physical and mental aspects. "Thank you to the medical staff at Chancheng Hospital for not giving up back then, for persisting with the treatment, giving him a second life, and making our family whole!" recalled the baby's mother with deep emotion.
At the inauguration ceremony of the hospital's Magnolia Building, ten preterm babies, including "The half a kilogram Baby", who were born at the hospital and are now healthy and lively children, gathered around Mo Wenhui, Chief of the General Pediatrics Department at Foshan Chancheng Hospital, affectionately calling him "Mother Mo." This warm and touching moment deeply moved every guest present.
