Dr. Ye Weijing graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (formerly Shanghai Second Medical University) and has over twenty years of clinical experience in pediatric urology. He possesses extensive experience in the treatment of hypospadias. Earlier in his career, he worked at the Affiliated Xinhua Hospital of Shanghai Second Medical University and the Shanghai Children's Medical Center affiliated with Shanghai Second Medical University. He undertook advanced training in the Department of Urology at the Schneider Children's Medical Center in Israel, under the guidance of Professor P. Livne, former President of the Israeli Urological Association. In 2003, he was awarded funding under the first "Hundred Talents Program" of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine for an academic exchange visit to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where he established a strong professional relationship with Dr. Snodgrass, a leading authority in hypospadias.
As a leading figure in pediatric urology within the Department of Urology at Renji Hospital—a national key discipline and a key 211 Project discipline of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine—he has published over 20 papers in domestic and international core journals, including SCI-indexed journals. He has frequently presented academic reports at the annual meetings of the Asia-Pacific Association of Pediatric Urologists (APAPU) and maintains excellent academic relationships with leading pediatric urologists in the Asia-Pacific region. He has contributed to several academic professional books such as "Specialized Treatment Techniques in Pediatric Surgery," "Neonatal Surgery," and "Renal Surgery," and has been responsible for national continuing medical education projects in his specialty.
