Professor Wu Suzhen enjoys a high reputation in the field of Chinese medicine gynecology domestically. She meticulously applies syndrome differentiation, skillfully establishes treatment principles, and employs precise theories, methods, and prescriptions that accurately target the pathogenesis, often achieving remarkable results in treating severe and chronic conditions.
Over 90% of the gynecological cases she treats in outpatient settings utilize pure TCM methods. Her treatment approaches are diverse; in addition to Chinese herbal medicine, she comprehensively employs acupuncture, emotional counseling, herbal paste formulations, and medicinal diets tailored to individual patient conditions, achieving significant clinical efficacy and high patient satisfaction. Over the years, she has achieved excellent results using TCM methods to treat endometriosis, infertility, irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, menopausal syndrome, threatened miscarriage, and female sub-health conditions. Many of the gynecological diseases she has cured were previously tough, unresolved cases where patients had sought help from numerous renowned doctors without success.
While modern medical techniques advance rapidly, Professor Wu Suzhen persistently studies advanced modern medical technologies. She has undertaken training in ultrasound diagnosis, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and other endoscopic minimally invasive techniques at renowned domestic hospitals, forming a medical philosophy that is rooted in TCM while referencing Western medicine. She skillfully wields these two "treasures" – Chinese and Western medicine – in her clinical practice, allowing them to complement each other's advantages and continually create medical miracles.
Dr. Wu Suzhen has long been committed to nurturing the next generation, ensuring the continuity of TCM knowledge. She has mentored countless undergraduates, visiting scholars, master's and doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and academic successors, cultivating a large number of TCM backbone talents and reserves.

With her rising academic stature, Professor Wu progressed from Master's supervisor to Doctoral supervisor. In August 2017, she was selected as a Doctoral Supervisor at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, becoming the first expert in the field of TCM gynecology in Foshan qualified to supervise PhD candidates. Many of the TCM talents she has trained have become technically proficient and ethically respected key personnel and disciplinary leaders, with some even selected as Foshan Outstanding Young Medical Talents.
