With 30 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology, Dr. Ye Hongjun specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of esophageal, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic diseases. He is a member of the International and Asia-Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver and a member of the International Society of Gastroenterology. He has served as a Standing Committee Member of the Guangdong Society of Internal Medicine, Standing Committee Member of the Guangdong Society of Gastroenterology, Standing Committee Member of the Guangdong Society of Hepatology, Deputy Director of the Municipal Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine for Hepatology, and a member of the Provincial Medical Accident Appraisal Committee. He holds the position of Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Hepatology and is an editorial board member for the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine on Liver Diseases, World Chinese Journal of Digestology, Journal of Rare and Uncommon Diseases, and Journal of Digestive Diseases and Intervention. He has undertaken 14 national, provincial, and municipal research projects, received 3 provincial Scientific and Technological Progress Awards, published 102 papers, and authored 11 medical books.

Diagnosis and treatment of internal medicine diseases, particularly gastroenterological conditions, and emergency care for critical illnesses. This includes gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcers, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, various complications of liver cirrhosis, acute and chronic pancreatitis, gallbladder and biliary tract diseases, diagnosis and treatment of ischemic bowel disease, and screening and treatment of early gastrointestinal tumors and precancerous lesions.
