Positions
Professor Du Keyi, with over 60 years of medical practice, moved from Tianjin to Shenzhen in 1983 and remains active in clinical work. His appointments in Shenzhen include:
· Director of the Anorectal Department at the former Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Hospital (jointly established by Shenzhen and the Beijing Academy of Chinese Medicine).
· Director of the Anorectal Department and Director of Ward 9 at Shenzhen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine until retirement.
· Appointed anorectal specialist by the Shenzhen Municipal Committee Healthcare Committee and Healthcare Office, providing specialized healthcare treatment for central government leaders stationed in Shenzhen and municipal committee leaders.
· After retirement, served as President of the Futian Hospital Anorectal Branch – one of Guangdong Province's earliest specialized anorectal hospitals (now renamed the Anorectal Branch of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University) – as its founder and first president for ten years.
· Continued clinical work at nearly seventy years old, appointed Director of the Anorectal Department at Hengsheng Hospital for nearly nine years, performing surgeries firsthand.
· At 84, responding to the national call to promote TCM culture, serves as Honorary President of Shenzhen Nanhai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, where he established the Du's TCM Anorectal Specialty Group and a Non-Heritage Training Base, dedicated to treating complex anorectal cases and mentoring disciples to inherit Du's TCM Anorectal Therapy, benefiting the public.
