With 15 years of experience in surgical practice, Dr. Ou has presided over and introduced numerous new surgical techniques, including endoscopic thyroidectomy, laparoscopic enterolysis, laparoscopic repair of gastric perforation, binding pancreaticojejunostomy, CT-guided radiofrequency ablation of tumors, and the application of early enteral nutrition following gastrointestinal surgery. He specializes in the treatment of thyroid and gastrointestinal diseases, providing accurate diagnosis and management for conditions such as hyperthyroidism, thyroid cancer, and acute or chronic thyroiditis.
Dr. Ou has co-authored multiple academic papers covering areas such as the clinical analysis of laparoscopic surgeries, research on thyroid diseases, and technical improvements in radical resection for colorectal cancer. Notably, the technique "Laparoscopic Resection of the Remnant Stomach Combined with Splenectomy and Pancreatectomy" was confirmed in April 2011 through novelty search as an innovative procedure first reported both domestically and internationally.
