Dr. Yuan Zhirui earned his Master of Medicine degree from the Southern Medical University and completed advanced training at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, where he was recognized as an “Outstanding Visiting Physician”. He has led and participated in 2 research projects approved by the Health Bureau of Foshan and 2 additional projects supported by the Foshan Science and Technology Bureau.
With nearly 20 years of extensive experience in spinal surgery clinical practice and research, Dr. Yuan has pursued academic exchanges and training at renowned domestic and international institutions. He has published multiple national-level academic papers and specializes in minimally invasive surgical treatments for cervical and lumbar spine disorders, developing personalized treatment plans for each patient. He has profound expertise in minimally invasive small-incision surgery for lumbar spondylolisthesis and spinal stenosis, as well as in Microendoscopic Discectomy (MED) and Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy (PELD) for lumbar disc herniation.
