     Dr. Miao Guiqiang serves as Director of Sports Medicine and Director of Traumatic Hip Orthopedics at Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital. He holds a Medical Doctorate, is a German-trained specialist, and serves as a Graduate Supervisor at both Guangdong Medical University and Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He was honored as one of the 7th “Excellent Doctor in Guangzhou”. With over one decade of clinical and research experience in bone and joint surgery, he has pursued advanced training and exchanges in arthroscopic techniques and artificial joint replacement in Germany, Beijing, and Shanghai. He has presided over and participated in three provincial-level research projects and holds three national invention patents. Dr. Miao specializes in employing internationally advanced treatment concepts and surgical methods to manage shoulder, knee, and ankle joint disorders arising from various causes, with particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of shoulder conditions.

    Dr. Miao is skilled in applying internationally advanced technologies and concepts, particularly minimally invasive arthroscopy, to treat shoulder, knee, and ankle pain due to various reasons. His expertise covers conditions including but not limited to: frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injuries, subacromial impingement, shoulder dislocation and instability, humeral head necrosis, femoral neck fractures, intertrochanteric fractures, knee meniscal injuries, anterior and posterior cruciate ligament tears, patellar dislocation, cartilage damage, knee osteoarthritis, popliteal cysts, gouty arthritis, elbow rheumatoid arthritis, elbow stiffness, femoral head necrosis, hip impingement syndrome, ankle avulsion fractures, acute and chronic ankle ligament injuries, and sequelae related to various fractures.
