Dr. Li Zhaohui serves as the Vice President of the Orthopedic Hospital and the Academic Discipline Leader in Joint Surgery at Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital. With over 30 years of experience in clinical practice and research in joint surgery, he has pursued advanced training and academic exchanges in artificial joint replacement techniques across prestigious institutions in Beijing, Hong Kong, the United States, and France.
As one of the first experts in Guangdong Province certified in hip and knee arthroplasty, Dr. Li has led 4 research projects approved by the the Health Bureau of Foshan and 5 projects supported by the Foshan Science and Technology Bureau. He pioneered Minimally Invasive Mobile-Bearing Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty (UKA) in the region and performs over 300 joint replacement surgeries annually, with a cumulative total of more than 1,000 knee arthroplasty procedures.

The first provincial surgery using a cartilage regeneration collagen protein filling scaffold was co-led by President Li Zhaohui and Professor Chen Shiyi, the fourth Chairperson of the Sports Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. During the procedure, both professors performed arthroscopic minimally invasive debridement of the knee joint’s synovial tissue, then injected the liquid cartilage regeneration collagen protein filling scaffold into the cartilage defect. Upon solidification, the surface exhibited a milky white appearance, resulting in a smooth and intact joint defect surface. Throughout his career in joint orthopedics, Li Zhaohui has continually advanced his expertise, engaging with new medical materials and technologies, and refining his medical skills through international exchange and learning.
